There are so many issues relevant to our day and time that are destroying our Republic but unfortunately, both parties are to blame.
One of those is the allegiance of Republicans and Democrats alike to a movement aimed toward handing over our entire government and economic system to a few International Elites who seek "Socialism by Environmental Morality". The Concept of Global Climate Change has been sold to the World as a relevant issue of emergency action requiring widespread servitude. Ironically, this very concept has been adopted by people like Newt Gingrich, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Charlie Crist, John Boehner and even some very interesting Republican advocates such as Pat Robertson and James Dobson. Where are we going to turn with our vote if the leaderships of both parties swear utter solitude and abject servitude to a flawed environmental policy destined to destroy our economy, our freedoms and more importantly our very Constitution.
It is my contention that the very Republican legislators we elected in years past to represent us in fighting for our freedoms have made a mockery of Conservatism and therefore paved a smooth road for the Progressive idealists to assume control. Not only have they garnered the votes for their proposed tyrannical projects, but they have somehow convince the uninformed electorate of this nation that Socialism is an attainable Utopia. Had it not been for the liberalism of men like Bush, Cheney, Crist, Schwartzenegger, McCain, and even in some ways Newt Gingrich, the American people would not have turned over their rights and freedoms so liberally to the Obama/Pelosi Regime.
If we hope to win back our Government from Pragmatic Fascism, the GOP is NOT the answer. I am not contending that we shouldn't participate in the local REC’s and create a purified Party base. I am simply saying that the rights and freedoms to be preserved by the American People and propagated throughout the world are always first encroached upon by politicians elected by the Uneducated and Misinformed. Should the Republican Party regain its power, the deadlock in idealism will certainly curtail the spread of “Barney Frank Fascism”, but should that very GOP leadership buy into a progressive project which may be popular and seemingly good as sold to them by the Progressive wing of the Democrat Party, its detrimental effect on the Economy and the nation at large will be laid solely at the feet of the Party in charge. That is EXACTLY how Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama came into power.
If you’ve placed all your hopes of regaining your freedoms in the Republican Party, give it up. Stop voting for ELECTABILITY! Get behind the Candidate who supports Liberty and the Constitution and Defend his honor. If every candidate who was founded on Conservative principles got the vote of every conservative in his/her district, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Unfortunately, too many believed that a bad Republican is better than a Good Democrat. It is incumbent upon those of us who navigate the 'road to liberty' to inform every voter of true conservative issues and contrast them with ALL politicians of any political party. The informed voter will then cease to blame Parties and vote properly. Term limits are only necessary when the voters are ignorant.
Regardless of what Pundants tell you, even Liberals enjoy freedom!
- How many life-long Democrats like to pay half their wages to the Government?
- How many Americans support fiscal irresponsibility in Government?
- How many Liberal College students support the Decriminalization of Cannabis?
- How many “Single-Payer Healthcare Enthusiasts” change their tune when presented with the bill for their portion of its cost?
- How many “Environmentalists” have not yet given up using internal combustion engines and electricity altogether in the name of “Global Climate Change”?
The only thing any Elitist must do to garner votes for his ambitions is to convince the voters that someone else will pay for it. Once they have sold that ‘bill of goods’, they are able to demonize those financiers and easily marginalize an entire Party. Somehow the GOP leaders haven’t figured all this out yet. They play right into the whole scheme.
When proposing principles of Conservatism, we CANNOT win an argument based on merits or conceived benefits. The liberal ideology is the Prime Utopia. Who wouldn’t want their healthcare paid for by the Government? Who wouldn’t want to live in a crime-free, gun-free paradise? Who wouldn’t want a high-paying job simply because they pay Union dues. The Utopia is quite appealing; it is in the journey toward that mirage that we fall short. The American people are not stupid, just misinformed. If they are presented with the facts, people will act correctly at the ballot box.
Let’s support an Election of Statesmen, not Parties. There is no place in the Constitution for political Strategy. For me, the Better of Two Evils is NOT good enough.
